The Central Highlands of Peru
The central highlands of Peru has several places to go specifically in the department of Junin. This land of high mountains also presents for the forest sector. Book a Hotel Cuzco if you want to see Machu Picchu and other attractions of the city. Huancayo is the capital of Junin, a city with a trade flow but low temperatures. However, that is no reason to spend a good, short holiday in this traditional Peruvian city. Junin department is divided into eight provinces: Chanchamayo, Concepción, Huancayo, Jauja, Junín, Satipo, Tarma and Yauli. As mentioned above Huancayo is the largest city and most populous.
The most recommended places to visit in Junin are: cataract the Veil of the Bride in Chanchamayo, Laguna de Paca Jauja, the ruin of Lacanmarca in Tarma among others. As commercial activity is concentrated in Huancayo, this is where you make your purchases as handicrafts. Once the exploration Junin can travel south as Cusco and Puno.
