The first thing I have to say that Peru is a wonderful country: A MULTICULTURAL AND Megadiverse-in all aspects-AWESOME. You can be riding in a town that retains Inca walls and be talking on the cell farthest from the country. Social differences are also visible and can make all the difference between being in Peru or in another destination vacaciones.En Peru, you can live in Andean communities sharing ancestral farming and taste exquisite cuisine in a restaurant five forks in the course of a day. Or wander along the sea and in four hours to be at 5,000 feet. All this information is likely to find on the internet, but do not forget that our country is unpredictable in many ways: a social protest or an event caused by climate change can ruin a lovely holiday. Lima

When the first rains and the onset of winter announce next cold days, close to Lima, we expect a variety of destinations to offer sun and relax.

A 105 km from Lima, Sing and Obrajillo ahead with delicious food and beautiful scenery and if you prefer something more adventurous: the Cordillera de la Viuda and their routes are ideal sites for those who prefer hiking.

South-east of Lima, after spending an entire day enjoying the adventure of canoeing on the river Cañete, walk the top of Lunahuaná and taste its delicious cuisine, we head toward the Nor Yauyos and admire a wonderful Landscape: Lara, VITIS And Huancayo ahead for a minimum of three days to spend unforgettable days of relaxation and adventure.

To the south there are several possibilities: the Villa Wetlands, a protected area near Lima, the impressive archaeological site of Pacahacamac and further south, and its miraculous waters Chilca curing many diseases, Azpitia and shrimp, Cañete, Chincha and rich gastronomy, El Carmen, the capital of black folklore, Paracas and the Ballestas Islands and the Reserve of the same name. Somewhat further south and for those who have more time: Ica and Huacachina lagoon invite us to enjoy the desert and its enigmatic Nazca Lines and its archaeological remains as aqueducts, Walls, and Chauchilla Cahuachi.

For those who only have one day: the small north gives us more possibilities. The oldest city in America, Caral waits with its more than 5000 years of history yet to be discovered along with places such as still being studied and Rough Bandurria. If you have two or three days there are two possibilities: or head further north towards Casma, the city of eternal summer, where we expect impressive archaeological sites, such as Chankillo and Sechin or as unparalleled beaches and Las Tortugas Aldas, among many others. The other alternative is going by Sayan, go and meet and Huacahuasi Churín; emblematic places with hot springs that will revitalize health.

Another ideal destination for hiking and fresh air is Lachay LOMAS 105 km north of Lima. It is advisable to go in private and leave everything clean. Lachay is one of nature reserves remaining in the middle of the “civilization” and where many species nest in transit from north to south or south to north.

The so called “Norte Chico” • also offers entertainment including the Castle of Chancay and the beach Chacrimar with the buildings of the Hare Krishnas, Huaral with their fantastic fruit orchards and their enigmatic ruins of Rupac, access to which invites us to do a trek of some difficulty.

The Central Highway from Chaclacayo to Chosica and detour to Santa Eulalia offers green and relaxation, both the existing private clubs such as country restaurants open access. For adventure lovers from San Jeronimo de Surco trek routes of those who have some physical fitness, such as PALAKALA, Song, RAINBOW FALLS, Quebrada de HUAQUICHA, WATERFALL TUMBAPACHA, SAN MIGUEL DE VISO and for more trained, FORESTS OF ZARATE. Also Ticlio, located at 4818 m, offer us the chance to DOWN HILL biking, climbing in the snowy Anticona or simply enjoy the beautiful sight of glaciers, lakes and wonderful BRIDGE stove.

You see dear reader: there are many possibilities, so that the summer may surprise you again without visiting all these destinations that we have for this fall season – winter.

Puno (Peru)

Puno is a department of a large land area but small population. Among major cities, we can mention Juliaca, Azangaro Huancané, Lampa and Yunguyo. The capital city of Puno is the same department and is located at a height of 3.827 m. The city’s climate is cold during the year, therefore, it is always necessary to bring warm clothing to avoid uncomfortable flu.
